Bradford Bulls kept their season alive with a comfortable victory over Catalans Dragons, while Leeds Rhinos went top of Super League as they scored a flurry of points in South Wales and Wigan sealed a play-off berth. The Bulls continued their recent upturn in form with a 42-18 dispatch of the French side, keeping their hopes of a top eight finish alive.

Sam Burgess, Rikki Sheriffe, Chris Nero, Steve Menzies, Wayne Godwin, Paul Deacon and and Glen Morrison all got amongst the tries as they cruised to victory at Odsal.

Bradford boss Steve McNamara has conceded that their hopes of a top eight finish are out of their hands, but three wins out of three has reignited their faltering season.

Sam Tomkins strengthened his case for an England call-up with a three-try haul at Castleford, helping the Warriors on their way to a 29-26 win.

The stand-off's hat-trick was coupled by a brace from half-back partner Thomas Leuluai, before a late drop-goal by Tomkins sealed the two points at the Jungle.

Celtic Crusaders' misery continued as they were humiliated in their first match at new home, Rodney Parade.

Leeds went top of the table with a 68-0 hammering over the Welsh outfit, who were absent of six regulars who are to be deported for visa irregularities.

Brent Webb scored four tries for the champions.
