Crusaders eye Super League upset
Celtic Crusaders captain Jace Van Dijk believes his team can pull of one of the biggest shocks in Super League history by beating reigning champions Leeds Rhinos in Friday's season opener at Headingley. The Welsh club have only been in existence for three seasons and are expected to finish their first top-flight season bottom of the table. But Van Dijk reckons they have every chance of defeating an injury-hit Rhinos squad.
He said: "I think we can win. There is no use playing if we didn't think we could. Leeds have a few injuries whereas we've basically a full squad.
"The bookmakers haven't given us much of a chance but I don't think we'll finish bottom.
"We know what's at stake tomorrow and hopefully we can put up a good performance and the Welsh public can get behind us this year."
