Yet another Victoria’s Secret success, 27-year-old Aussie Miranda Kerr is this week’s Sport.co.uk hot babe.
Storming into the modeling world at just 13, Kerr was deemed controversially young when she started posing, alas, practice obviously makes perfect and by the time she was allowed to show more than her angelic face, she was in every magazine in varying states of undress.
She entered our living rooms in 2006 in the Maybelline TV adverts (you know the one…it had that annoying tagline you’re girlfriend kept repeating “maybe she’s born with it… maybe it’s Maybelline”). Obviously Miranda was clearly born with it; “it” being a very pretty face and a stonkingly fit body.
A certain famous Elf obviously thought so too and proposed to her a few months ago. We don’t mean funnyman Will Ferrell, but of course the Lord of the Rings heartthrob Orlando Bloom. Before the romance bloomed with Middle Earth’s most accurate arrowsman, Kerr had struck something of an unlucky figure in love with both Adrian Camilleri and Jay Lyon (yeah we’ve no idea who they are either) both breaking her heart - idiots.
On the summer solstice however, Kerr and Bloom announced their engagement and slightly confusingly (purposely but pointlessly) followed it up by announcing 24 hours later that they were married. All very odd. Anyway, as if to emphasise how off the market she is, lovely Miranda this week revealed she was sporting a bun in the oven.
With charity work in full swing, Kerr is very much at the top of the hot humanitarian celebrity tree; just to emphasise her green credentials she even posed for Rolling Stone magazine chained to a tree in the name of Koala protection!
Versatile, as so many models are these days, she has also written a self-help book for teenage girls entitled Treasure Yourself; we can only imagine what such handy hints the book provides.
Apparently her favorite food is steamed vegetables and fish so if you want to impress this week’s Babe all you need to do is get yourself a dainty costume (elf or a pirate will suffice), start growing vegetables on your allotment and take up fishing. Simples.
