Pittsburgh Penguins scored twice in 90 seconds to claim a 3-2 win over Carolina Hurricanes in the opening game of the Eastern Conference finals.Evgeni Malkin, Sidney Crosby and Phillipe Boucher grabbed the goals for the Penguins, who are looking to win consecutive conference championships for the first time since 1991 and 1992.Both Satan and Boucher scored their first goals of the play-offs, while goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury produced save after save to keep his side in front.

Joe Corvo's power play strike gave Carolina hope and Eric Staal missed a golden opportunity late on for the Hurricanes as the Penguins held out for the win.
