Sidney Crosby was the Pittsburgh Penguins hero in the decisive game seven of their Eastern Conference semi-final against Washington Capitals. Crosby scored two goals as the Penguins won 6-2 to seal a 4-3 series victory.Pittsburgh were 2-0 down after the first two games of the series, but battled back strongly and were always in control of the final game in Washington.

The Penguins will now face either Boston Bruins or Carolina Hurricanes who are currently tied at 3-3 in the other semi-final.
