US Ryder Cup hopeful Charley Hoffman has admitted he holds no grudges after failing to win a place in Corey Pavin's team for the upcoming event at Celtic Manor at the start of October.
The 33-year-old secured a stunning five-shot success at the Deutsche Bank in Boston on Monday, but Pavin opted to hand wild-card selections to Tiger Woods, Stewart Cink, Zach Johnson and Rickie Fowler.
"No disappointment," he said. "I had all year to play my way on the team.
"When you leave it up to the captain's pick you can't be disappointed because you had your chance to earn your spot.
"If I was maybe nine or ten (on the points board) like Anthony Kim or something like that I might be disappointed, but I wasn't really even on the radar.
"Obviously I would have been honoured to be picked, but no disappointment there at all."
