Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has moved closer to the exit door at Eastlands with bookies slashing odds on the former Arsenal forward leaving in the January transfer window with Juventus the favourites to land the forward’s signature.

Adebayor has flirted openly with leaving City in recent months, being linked with a move to Serie A with AC Milan and Juventus, however his recent form did suggest that he was willing to stay and fight for a place at City.

But according to reports this morning bookies have slashed odds on him leaving the Premier League in January, with City boss Roberto Mancini ready to bring in another front man in the transfer window.

Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho is also keen on Adebayor, and has admitted monitoring the Togo forward, however he believes City would be unwilling to sell to the Madrid based club.

Adebayor was also involved in a recent on the field bust-up with teammate Vincent Kompany, however the Togolese international played down the incident which led to widespread criticism of the Manchester City dressing room.

It is not know how much Adebayor would cost the Old Lady, however a figure in the region of £15 million has been mentioned in Italian reports.
