Manchester United legend David Beckham has promised West Ham United that he will give them a decision on whether he wants to end his career at Upton Park shortly. The England hero has been linked with a return to the Premier League and has in the past been coveted by Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa. (The Sun)

Manchester United are ahead of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in the race for Rosenborg midfielder Anthony Annan, who shone for Ghana at the World Cup finals. (The Sun)
