Premier League champions Manchester United have reportedly made Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric their number one transfer target. Sir Alex Ferguson will make a £25 million bid for the diminutive Croatian, although Chelsea FC, Manchester City and Inter Milan are also being linked with the White Hart Lane star. (The Sun)

Meanwhile elsewhere at Old Trafford, Manchester United talisman Wayne Rooney was allegedly spotted wearing a Real Madrid shirt during the shooting of a commercial in Barcelona.
