Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers has admitted to Arsenal.com that if he had to be a woman for a day he would pick former Gunner, and current Chelsea star, Ashley Cole’s wife Cheryl Cole. Cheryll and former Arsenal star Ashley are currently on a break after a number of reports linking Ashley with a string of other women.
The young England prospect Wilshere was interviewed in a video feature on Arsenal.com called “the weird and wonderful,” where members of the Gunner’s first team squad are asked a number of amusing questions outside of the world of football. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger let Wilshere join Owen Coyle's Bolton on loan in January, where the young Gunner has put in a string of impressive performances for the Trotters.
The news that Wilshere would like to be Cheryl Cole for a day will amuse Arsenal fans who have never forgiven her husband Ashley for turning his back on Arsenal, the club that nurtured him, to join Premier League rivals Chelsea. Wilshere replied to the question, ‘if you could be a woman for a day who would you be?’
“I would probably be Cheryl Cole. Just to see what attention she gets and that.”
