Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has been given a suspended £20,000 fine and warned about his future conduct following a recent spat with Everton boss David Moyes.
The pair clashed late on in the Toffees' 2-0 victory at Eastlands on March 24, with both men sent to the stands after Mancini had been unhappy with Moyes holding on to the ball and had made contact with his Everton counterpart.
The Italian later accepted an FA charge of improper conduct, with a formal FA statement confirming: "The FA has fined Manchester City's Roberto Mancini following a charge of improper conduct.
"Mancini was charged following an incident in the Manchester City versus Everton fixture at The City of Manchester Stadium on March 24.
"Having accepted the charge and requested a personal hearing an Independent Regulatory Commission ordered that he be warned as to his future conduct and fined the sum of £20,000, which is to be suspended in total until the end of the 2011-12 season.
"The suspended sanction will be automatically activated should he be found guilty of a similar charge before that time, in addition to any other sanction for that offence."
Mancini had offered his apologies to Moyes soon after the clash, saying: "I've spoken now with David and if I made a mistake I am sorry.
"I wanted to get the ball because there was another five minutes at the end. This can happen sometimes in a game, but it is finished now. I was frustrated for the players."
