Stoke City's Ryan Shawcross will still be the same committed defender he was before the tackle which broke Aaron Ramsey's leg.
Shawcross has vowed to return from suspension the same player despite being responsible for the horrific double leg which left the Arsenal teenager facing up to 12 months out of action.
The 22-year-old is set to make his return from a three-match ban against Tottenham on Saturday and intends to be the same player who won a place in the last England squad.
Shawcross was called into the international squad for the first time in the hours after the Ramsey incident during a Premier League game last month.
"I was quite surprised how quickly I was back to normal," said Shawcross.
"I knew straight after I was going to be the same player and make tackles.
"It was an accident and these things happen in football. I'm not going to change the way I play.
"If I get chance to play on Saturday I will play my normal game as I always have done."
