On a day that started amid more revelations about Chelsea captain John Terry, it culminated in Chelsea striker Didier Drogba dominating all the headlines. The two Premier League rivals went head-to-head in a crucial game; one week after Arsene Wenger’s Gunners had succumbed to Manchester United, could they finally end their Drogba jinx or would Carlo Ancelotti’s side dominate the easy on the eye Arsenal?

As it turned out it was all too predictable for poor Arsenal fans as the talismanic Chelsea striker dominated the likes of William Gallas and Gael Clichy all afternoon. A well taken brace from Drogba ensured John Terry was out of the headlines for a change, and the Ivorian’s performances raised further questions about Arsenal and Arsene Wenger’s Premier League title aspirations.

Check out Sport.co.uk’s latest cartoon which sums up the Chelsea versus Arsenal clash which was dominated by two characters for two differing reasons; Drogba for his persistent heroics against Arsenal, and the former England captain John Terry, who despite being in the dog house, put in a towering performance to the delight of Stamford Bridge.
