Former Arsenal forward Thierry Henry has ruled out a move to Major League Soccer side New York  Red Bulls for the time being, revealing he is committed to Barcelona until 2011.

Henry has been linked with a move to the New York MLS side where it is rumoured the French international will see out his career.

Speaking to L’Equipe on Friday, the former Arsenal player explained:

“There is nothing concrete with New York. For now, I’m linked with Barcelona until 2011.”??Former Colombia and Aston Villa striker Juan Pablo Angel, who is now the captain of the Big Apple outfit admitted he is keen for the former Arsenal and Premier League legend to sign for the New York side.??“If you gave me the choice to bring one player here, I would take Thierry Henry without hesitation,”

“He would be phenomenal, not only for New York but also for all of Major League Soccer.”

The former Gunner who became the clubs’ leading goal scorer at the Emirates with 226 in 369 appearances for the North London outfit.
