Portsmouth FC's official website has been closed down after the club failed to pay their bills for its upkeep.

A spokesman for Pompey confirmed; “Our website has been taken off-line after we failed to adhere to an agreed payment structure."

The news comes as another serious blow for the Fratton Park outfit with players wages not being paid on time and a Winding Up oetition scheduled to be heard in February.

Without the means to communicate through official channels it appears that Portsmouth fans could well find their club the subject of even more speculation and rumour-mongering.

On the pitch, Portsmouth secured a point against fellow strugglers West Ham United on Tuesday night but remain rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table

'Looks like the end for our friends. A much as I don't like them, the premier league have failed here. Pompeys demise should have be brought to a head ages ago, if it had they might have had a chance of being saved. I hope they do, looking forward to the game in 2 weeks. COYR!'
