Zoran Tosic’s agent has dismissed rumours linking the young Serbian with a move away from Manchester United. Reports in Holland claim the 22-year-old winger could be in line for a loan move to Steve McClaren’s FC Twente, amid growing concerns the player is not developing as the Premier League champions had hoped.
Having joined from Partizan Belgrade in January 2009, Tosic has since made just two first team appearances for the club, yet his agent Zoran Pavlovic suggests he is happy with his current situation.
“Zoran is well in Manchester and he is staying at Manchester United,” Pavlovic told skysports.com.
“I have had no contact with FC Twente and Zoran is very happy at Manchester.”
“He has three years left on his contract and he wants to fight for his place. His first option is to stay in Manchester.”
Sky Sports claim the player is highly thought of by United’s hierarchy and are not considering loaning him out.
