Valencia striker David Villa has refused to rule out a move to the Premier League in a strong hint that he may be ready to leave the cash strapped La Liga side. Barcelona and Real Madrid are both interested in the prolific Spanish international, however Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been linked with the 27-year-old in the past and all are believed to monitoring the player’s progress.
Villa told Marca: “I have not closed the door on any club because I only have a short career and I want to enjoy my football,”
“I have had a lot of offers, but I would have to pick the best option, and that could be in the Premier League, which I have never ruled out.”
The forward, who currently tops the La Liga scoring charts in contracted to Valencia until 2014 but the club’s crippling debt could result in him being sold as early as January.
