Manchester United stalwart Nemanja Vidic has rubbished reports he is unhappy at the club and suggested his detractors should look at his dedication on the pitch before claiming he is not anything but 100% committed to the Premier League champions. The towering Serb was yesterday linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid amid renewed reports intimating his wife Ana was unhappy in Manchester, however the 28-year-old claimed it was nonsense. The Serbian international also suggested the rumours had not come from his agent as a means of hurrying the club into contract negotiations.
Vidic told the press: “I never said I'm unsettled. Other people say that and write about it.”
“I can't fight against that. I don't want to keep talking about these things.”
“I'm happy here.”
“I don't want to push the club for a new contract, I don't want to push anybody.”
“I'm happy here and I think I showed that in the games. I want to be part of the team every game and give 100 per cent.”
