Arsenal are readying a new deal for Cameroon international Alexandre Song after the 22-year-old proved to Arsene Wenger that he is capable of anchoring the Gunners midfield. The enforcer has been integral to the Frenchman’s side this season playing in eleven of their twelve matches so far and earning plaudits for his consistency, strength and mobility. The Sun claims that the north London outfit are ready to offer Song an extension on his current deal which will see him contracted until 2015.
