Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke believes the Premier League title race is far from over despite Chelsea’s five point lead over the defending champions. Defeat at Stamford Bridge also saw Arsenal leapfrog Sir Alex Ferguson’s side into third place, but Yorke suggests United will be in the mix come the end of the season.
Yorke is quoted by Bloomberg.com saying: “It’s far from over,”
“We’re not even halfway through.”
“Anyone who’s thinking of writing Man United off at this stage must be joking.”
“Sir Alex, with all his experience, will come back fighting. I’ve got no doubt about that.”
“He’ll be calm and he’ll say ‘Stay calm’,”
