Arsenal fan Luol Deng backs the World Cup bid
Basketball superstar Luol Deng has joined the growing chorus of British sporting greats to back England’s 2018 World Cup Bid. The Chicago Bulls captain, a self-confessed Arsenal fanatic, was speaking ahead of Tuesday night’s NBA Europe Live game against the Utah Jazz at London’s O2 Arena. Deng follows fellow sporting icons Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Manchester United legend David Beckham and England’s Ashes heroes in backing England's 2018 World Cup Bid.
