Manchester United legend David Beckham is enduring a difficult period with the LA Galaxy following his successful loan spell with AC Milan, and as a result the player has subsequently been linked with a return to the Premier League with Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City all said to be interested. With that in mind take a look at Sport.co.uk’s Cartoon of the Week.

'What nonsense how can a player who constantly behaves in such a petulant manner have leadership qualities, says so little for your taste, the only good points about his game is his crosses, that is not enough in any book to be a regular in any side. His image has played a big part in being selected by various managers.'

'David Beckham is england. There will never be another player capped more then him. So not only Capello is seeing something in him, many previous managers also are seeing the same thing. He was the best right sided player in the world by my own opinion and i would love to see him play for my supported club. You will never get someone as good as him from set peice. And his leadship ability in an england shirt is 2nd to none. I put it you all of you doubters, do better yourself or keep your bad mouthing TO yourself.'

'Behave you cretins over rated? he has gotton Englan through games single handedly and made and broken records. Maldini played at his age was still a great. You idiots obviously have no idea on football. You dont break cap records through many different managers without being a damn fine player. The fact his peers want him in and perhaps as captain is enough said. His presence and experience will be a huge asset and even if he played 20minutes he can change games in the part of the match that England historically suffer in! muppets!'

'This guy is such an embarrassment for club and country, what Capello sees in him is beyond any common football sense'
