French publications L'Equipe and France Football are reporting that Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has been taken to hospital in Austria following an injury sustained while training on the Gunners' pre-season tour of the country.

The 22-year-old was transported by two members of staff, reportedly crying in pain, to the regional hospital in Hartberg.

A statement on Arsenal's official website states:

"Samir Nasri has sustained a fractured fibula during this morning’s training session at the Club’s pre-season training camp in Austria.

"The midfielder will be out of action for two to three months."

Arsenal face Austrian side SC Columbia Floridsdorf this evening in their second warm-up game of the week.

'Would it too audacious for even Wenger to sign Hleb as a replacement for Nasri with his injury?'

'NOW, I'm starting to get nervous. Wenger has to be wondering "Are we cursed?" "Has Ade put some sort of Voodoo Hex on the team?" Well I surely hope not, but Wenger might have to reprioritize the club's needs. WE NEED MIDFIELDERS! And to think I just got my Arsenal Tattoo this summer. We need to great season.....'
