According to reports in the British press Harry Redknapp is still keen on replacing Didier Zokora with a powerful presence in the heart of Tottenham Hotspur’s midfield and having been associated with former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira is now also being linked with a potential successor to the French international’s position at the heart of Raymond Domenech’s les Bleus. Moussa Sissokho is the new name on Redknapp’s shopping list and at only 19-years-old he is something of a star in the making.

The French under-21 international made waves in the heart of the Toulouse midfield last term and according to the Daily Mail was scouted during the Ligue 1 side’s match with Bordeaux at the tail end of the season.

Sissoko has made 63 league appearances during his two seasons in Toulouse's first team, scoring five goals.
