Manchester United fans may beg to differ but Manchester City bound Carlos Tevez believes he will not be betraying the Stretford End faithful by signing for their city rivals.
The Argentine left United at the end of month and is currently considering two bids from Chelsea and Manchester City, however the former West Ham star believes he was portrayed by his situation at Old Trafford.
Tevez told the People: “If I play for Manchester City I don't think the United fans will feel I am a traitor.”
“They have to remember that at least as far as I know I have been thrown out of the club and I have to study the best offers available.”
