Fabregas: We all want to play for Barca
Cesc Fabregas has cast fresh doubt over his long term Arsenal future by claiming any player would want to play for Barcelona. The La Liga champions completed the treble by winning the Champions League on Wednesday and Fabregas says people are 'always telling me great things' about the club. Former Barcelona midfielder Fabregas has been tipped to return to the club as Arsenal struggle to end their four-year run without a trophy.
He said: "Which player would not like to play for a team like that at the moment?
"They are probably the best team that I have seen play in history and I have a lot friends there who are always telling me great things.
"Of course, you feel envy in a healthy way because of the way they play football. Everyone's dream would be to play in a team like this."
Thierry Henry was a loser when Arsenal were defeated by Barca in the 2006 Champions League final and Fabregas was pleased to see the Frenchman finally get a winners' medal on Wednesday.
"That was the only thing that he was missing. He was delighted," Fabregas added.
"He had a difficult year adapting and this year he came into his own. Barca boss Pep Guardiola showed faith in him.
"Now Henry has everything and I do not know if there are many players that can equal his honours list."
