Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, Real Madrid’s January purchase from Ajax, has reiterated his desire to fulfill his potential at the Bernabeu despite continued rumblings that he could be forced out after only six months in the Spanish capital. The Dutch international has already been speculatively linked with Arsenal and Chelsea in recent months and with presidential candidates promising to usher in an era of change and further big-money signings, the future hasn’t appeared so bright for the Oranje star.
“Of course I do not want to go. I came here to play and win titles," he is quoted as saying by the club's official website.
"I've only been here for six months. I came to play and win more games with Real Madrid. I never regretted signing for the best club in the world. It was a chance I grabbed with both hands and I want to show people what I'm capable of doing."
