Diamonds are forever for Christanval
Former Fulham defender Philippe Christanval has retired aged 30 - to run a jewellery shop. The Frenchman, who was recently on trial at Blackburn, has suffered with a succession of injuries and was released by Fulham at the end of last season.And the former Barcelona and Lyon centre-back has decided to indulge his other passion by opening a jewellery shop in London, with others rumoured to follow.
