Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has told his side they must score first if they are to have any chance of overcoming Chelsea in their Champions League quarter-final clash. Benitez's men go into the second leg a Stamford Bridge trying to recover a 3-1 deficit after are massive underdogs. But Benitez believes Chelsea are vulnerable after conceding three goals at home to Bolton on Saturday and believes Liverpool have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

"The first goal will be important for either side but, for us, it would be a massive difference," said the Spaniard.

"In football, you never know what's going to happen. At this moment, we have nothing to lose. They will be under pressure because they have to win.

"But, still, we're talking about players with experience in the Champions League and the Premier League. It's a question of whether we can score that first goal. We have nothing to lose."

He added: "They were winning (against Bolton), so they made some mistakes. But it was a different situation. We know they can make mistakes and we can exploit this."
