Megson a United fan from now until the end of the season
Gary Megson will be a Manchester United fan until the end of the season - as he reckons Sir Alex Ferguson's men can save Bolton from relegation. Bolton are not guaranteed Premier League survival yet but with United feeling the pressure in the title race, Megson hopes they can do the Trotters a favour their relegation rivals.United are just one point clear of Liverpool at the top of the table and play Sunderland, Portsmouth and Middlesbrough in the run-in.
And Megson will be cheering Ferguson's men on as he bids to escape the drop.
He said: "I don't want to be rude to Manchester United but they have got to keep playing now.
"After they lost at Fulham, they know that every team they play they will have to go and get a result.
"We've played them twice and they've turned us over twice - maybe rightly so - but they have got to keep going now right to the end."
Bolton are currently five points clear of the bottom three and United face Portsmouth, who are three points clear, in their game in hand over Liverpool.
