Wenger slams 'unacceptable' decision
Arsene Wenger was furious with referee Mike Dean after he disallowed a first-half goal from Emmanuel Eboue which would have given Arsenal all three points against Tottenham at White Hart Lane. Eboue was later sent off by Dean for two yellow cards as Arsenal held on for a goalless draw against their North London rivals. But the Gunners boss was more angry with the goal being chalked off than his side being reduced to 10 men.
He said: "We dealt well with the situation even if it was a big handicap to play with 10 men. I thought the first yellow card was soft but I haven't seen the second - if he deserved to go then that's fair.
"But it was a massive wrong decision to cancel the goal we scored and that's not acceptable.
"I would like our opponents to have goals like that cancelled when they play at the Emirates."
But Wenger was pleased with his team's performance in what was an intense North London derby and feels they are still in the hunt for a Champions League place.
"We dealt well with them. I don't believe Tottenham created many chances and we had more clear-cut chances in the game.
"We're on a good run and we will focus on our performances which is the most important thing. We'll see where we are in May.
"But I'm very angry today. I'm proud of my players but angry at the referee's decision to disallow the goal."
