Eboue availability sparks interest
Emmanuel Eboue is the subject of an enquiry from Inter Milan according to reports in the Italian press. Eboue's contract expires this summer and the Ivorian international is free to sign a pre-contract with any club, a situation Arsenal are familiar with following Mathieu Flamini's departure on a free transfer to A.C Milan last summer.
Eboue has suffered a torrid time this season at the Emirates being labelled a clown by the unforgiving Arsenal faithful and ruthlessly booed off the pitch against Wigan. The right back is seen as an ideal replacement for marauding Brazilian full back Maicon, who has been linked with a move away from the San Siro at the end of the current campaign.
However Inter will face competition from a host of top European clubs for Eboue's signature, including Barcelona and Real Madrid, who have both enquired about the players availability in the last eighteen months.
