Paul Nixon has confirmed that he will continue his career to play in the Champions League following Leicester shire's t20 finals win.
The veteran announced that he would retire from the game following the conclusion of the competition but now says he will continue to play for his county following their victory against Somerset at Edgbaston on Saturday.
Nixon was one of the stars of the competition's finals day and says he is now looking forward to one last tournament.
"We've got to go to the Champions League now, haven't we?" he said on Sky Sports.
"I'm hoarse. We've worked so hard.
"But we have a small squad so everybody has to come to the party and that's what we've done. Every single person in our team has won a game for us in this competition."
