New Zealand have cancelled their already postponed tour of Zimbabwe amid continuing concerns over security.
The tour was originally set to take place in July 2009 only to be delayed 11 months while assurances were sought.
However, following government advice, New Zealand Cricket has made the decision not to travel to Zimbabwe.
"It is clear from our recent discussions that the government's assessment of the security situation in Zimbabwe has not changed from that of a year ago," explained NZC chief executive Justin Vaughan.
"We have a possible window for the rescheduling of the tour next year in May or June.
"The other option is that we look at playing the scheduled tour in a neutral venue."
