Amir Khan is dreaming of knocking out Paulie Malignaggi when he puts his WBA light-welterweight title on the line in New York on May 15.
The Bolton bruiser made light work of Dimitry Salita in his first defence, seeing off the Ukraine-born American after just 76 seconds in December.
His clash with Malignaggi, who lost to Ricky Hatton in 11 rounds in 2008, will be his debut professional fight in America and will take place at Madison Square Garden.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Khan said: "To come to the Mecca of boxing which is Madison Square Garden is every fighter's dream.
"You've had the likes of Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson fighting over here, Oscar De La Hoya and everyone.
"It's my American debut, it's going to be very exciting to fight over here and it's been my dream all my life to fight in New York as a professional.
"It would be a great feeling to beat him in his home town."
