Bryant bounces Lakers into finals
Kobe Bryant stole the show as the Los Angeles Lakers clinched their place in the NBA Finals after claiming a 4-2 series win over the Denver Nuggets. Bryant scored 35 points with 10 assists to help the Lakers ease to a 119-92 win to leave the Nuggets without a finals appearance since 1985.Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol both added 20 points for the Lakers, while Trevor Ariza netted 17 as the Lakers made all 23 of their free throws.
Carmelo Anthony led the way for the Nuggets, scoring 25, while JR Smith added 24 but it was too little to late for Denver.
