Jon Lester and Jonathan Papelbon pitched Boston Red Sox to a 4-0 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Monday night. Lester was particularly impressive, throwing seven shutout innings, winning his first eight games against the Orioles - only the second player in history to do so.After building a 4-0 lead in the fourth innings, the two pitchers saw the game out with the minimum of fuss, and Lester admits he loves playing against the Orioles.

"Maybe their lineup just fits me for some reason, I don't know," Lester said.

"I don't pitch any different against them than against any other team, but I'm just fortunate to get some runs early on and that's the biggest thing."

And AudreyHuff admitted Lester was too good for his side.

"We just don't get anything to hit," he admitted. "He's got an incredible fastball, a good cutter, a sinker, curveball. When he's on, he's tough."
