The Sacramento Kings rescinded rookie guard Ray McCallum's assignment to the Reno Bighorns of the NBA Development League.

McCallum, who is averaging 0.6 points, 0.3 rebounds, 0.1 assists and 2.4 minutes in seven games this season with the Kings, will be available for Sacramento's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday.

"He’s like Elvis

“We’re playing a team that likes to play a lot of small ball,” Kings coach Michael Malone said pregame of the move to keep McCallum in Sacramento. ”They’ll play three ball-handling guards out there at times in Jarrett Jack, Dion Waiters and Kyrie Irving. Just felt that why not have Ray around today in a game that he may be able to play in.”
