Waiting for Mugello - Che Spettacolo!

24 May 2014 07:51

We are seven days apart from the Gran Premio d’Italia at Mugello.

This is one of my favorite circuits with its 6 left corners and 9 right corners on a total length of 5.245m/3.259 miles.

The motogp race will have 23 laps – meaning 120.6 km/ 75.0 miles.

Mugello circuit which was built in 1974 it is set in one of the most beautiful areas of Italy. Only 30 km away from Florence in the amazing Tuscany countryside.

This year the battle is on again. There is the unbeaten Marquez at one side, who is flying away on his HONDA towards a perfect win each and every time. Pedrosa is not quitting either ! he is right there behind his colleague at number two with 83 points.

The reason this season is so important is that Valentino Rossi is back on winning track.

I don’t know about you guys but I have missed seeing him on the podium. When I heard he will go to Ducati I was sure this will be the end of it. But the doctor is back. And as far as I can see he is here to stay.

With a total of 81 points in the World Championship standings he is following Pedrosa very very close. Next week he will be on home ground and I am sure we will have an amazing show.

I can only hope for a battle right there on the front row between Rossi , Marquez, Lorenzo and Pedrosa.

May the best man win !
