Sauber have become the second team to unveil images of their car ahead of the new Formula One campaign.

The Swiss outfit, which finished second from last in the 2016 constructors' championship, are celebrating 25 years in the sport and will compete in a blue, white and gold livery.

Swede Marcus Ericsson will continue to race for Sauber this season, and he will be joined by Pascal Wehrlein, formerly of Manor.

The 22-year-old German, however, has been forced to sit out the first pre-season test, which gets under way a week today in Barcelona, after he sustained a back injury at the exhibition Race of Champions event last month.

Sauber are the second team to post images of their new car after Williams released a short video of their 2017 challenger on Friday.

Renault will launch their new design in London on Tuesday with Force India and Mercedes to take the wraps off their new cars at Silverstone on Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Following a raft of changes to the technical rulebook, the cars will be bigger and heavier this year. They are expected to place a greater physical demand on the drivers with lap times set to tumble by up to five seconds.
