Sam Tordoff and Gordon Shedden recorded wins at Rockingham in the British Touring Car Championship - with Tordoff regaining pole position in the overall standings as a result of Sunday's action.

In the first race of the day, reigning champion Shedden claimed his third win of the season, securing a lights-to-flag victory at the Northamptonshire venue in his Honda Civic Type R.

Tordoff tweeted afterwards: "To qualify p28 yesterday & win race 2 today is incredible! Car is on fire, amazing effort by all the team! Very happy team Tordoff!"

He regains top spot in the drivers' championship with 258 points, 18 points clear of Matt Neal. Shedden (221), Jackson (219) and Collard (217) are not far behind.
