Lewis Hamilton on his title celebrations and life after Formula One

Lewis Hamilton spoke to a select group of journalists about celebrating his third championship and life beyond Formula One ahead of this week's Mexican Grand Prix. Here are his best bits.

On celebrating on Sunday night.

There were a lot of dudes at Pete's Piano Bar. When you win the world championship, you don't really want to be surrounded just by dudes. We went to another spot which was just around the corner. It was no good so I only had one glass of tequila and went to bed.

On the day after.

We got up really early to go to Los Angeles. We chilled for the day with Roscoe, drove around in a pretty cool car and then went out and partied hard in an environment that I like. We went to a club and we danced.

On wrestling.

I rehearsed the move once and that was it, no practice. Before I was thinking 'should I really be doing this? I don't really need to. I've just won the world championship so you can't get any better than that.

On racing until he is 40.

Absolutely no. I have no plans to go that far.

On life after Formula One.

I have made enough money that I don't need to make any more in my life. You see the likes of Sir Jackie Stewart still here and making money in the sport, but right now I feel as though there are other things that I am experimenting with and enjoying outside of racing.

On Rosberg beating him next year

It is not impossible but I know how I have applied myself since karting, that if I applied myself in a certain way, then all the kids I was racing against, I was going to beat. I find myself in the same position today and we are all a bunch of kids and I am exactly the same today as I was then.
