Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery has once again alerted a host of Europe’s biggest clubs by announcing he will make a decision on his future by the end of March. Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal have all been linked with the France international, while Barcelona and Real Madrid also intend to open talks with the player. (The Times)
Barcelona continue to publicly court Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas about a possible £40 million summer move. The Emirates talisman is once again the pawn at the centre of Barcelona’s presidential elections with all candidates vowing to sign Arsene Wenger’s star player for £40 million in the summer. Arsenal’s recent defeat to Manchester United has reportedly exasperated the situation because the player reportedly feels the club has neither the ambition nor finances to match their Premier League rivals.
