Leader Roberto Castro managed just six holes of his third round at the Sanderson Farms Championship before the weather again brought an early end to play on Sunday.

Castro dropped shots on the third and fourth holes to sit on 13 under, one shot clear of D.J. Trahan and Michael Thompson.

Tyler Aldridge was five under on the day through 15 holes to be one of seven players tied for fourth on 11 under when play was called off for the day.

Castro will have to play 30 holes on Monday as he goes in search of his first PGA Tour title in more than 100 events.

He held a four-shot lead at the start of the round before his first bogeys of the tournament dropped him back to the field and made it all to play for on Monday and he said: "I just hit two poor shots and paid for both of them."
