Jodi Ewart Shadoff slips to nine shots off the lead at LOTTE Championship

England's Jodi Ewart Shadoff saw her LOTTE Championship challenge falter on day three in Hawaii.

After playing herself into contention on Thursday with a five-under 67, the Northallerton-born 28-year-old recorded a level-par 72 to slip down to tied 20th, nine shots back of new leader Katie Burnett.

The American leads Jang Su-yeon by one stroke after the pair shot rounds of five under on Friday.

Overnight leader Minjee Lee failed to hit a birdie in her third round and two bogeys saw the 19-year-old Australian drop down to sixth, five shots behind Burnett.

England's Holly Clyburn had a second under-par round of the week which left her one under and tied for 39th.
