South Korean Kim Meen-whee and Australia's Mark Hensby held the joint lead at the halfway stage of the Barbasol Championship in Alabama.
Hensby carded seven birdies, including two in his last two holes, in a second-round seven-under-par 64, while Kim shot a 66, featuring six birdies and a bogey, as both players moved on to nine under for the tournament.
The duo sat a shot clear of Emiliano Grillo of Argentina and American pair Charlie Beljan and Sam Saunders.
Grillo shot a 66 on Friday and Beljan a 64, while Saunders needed a birdie at the 18th to finish with a 70.
