Each week, former Arsenal hero and now co-presenter on The Betting Channel, Perry Groves gives us his top tip for the weekend. Bolton welcome Spurs to the Reebok this weekend in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

It’s a surprise to see Bolton go as far as they have in the Cup this year, as they haven’t exactly been that impressive. But they’ve proved they’re up for the competition and if they can put in an energetic performance against the Spurs then the quarter-finals may be on the cards for Owen Coyle.

Although his lacks squad depth in comparison to Harry Redknapp’s, I fancy the Trotters to put up a real fight on Sunday. Since Coyle took over, the team have looked better and have proved that they can keep up with some of the league’s better sides. They pushed Arsenal all the way in both matches and should’ve been up against Man City in the week. And they’ve still got that gritty, hard man streak which could well expose Spurs’ soft underbelly.
Don’t get me wrong, it’ll require a big performance from Bolton, but I feel they can get a result. They’re also a big price for the home side at 11/4 so get a bit of your hard-earned on a Trotters win.
