Well, the dust has firmly settled on the fall out from the Ricky Hatton vs Manny Pacquiao blockbuster fight in Las Vegas, and I can tell you as I was the 'Hitman' yesterday and he is still bitterly dissapointed.

What does the future hold for the 'hitman'?

However, I can answer the question on everyone's lips, and he hasn't made a decision on his future yet, but if I was a betting man I think he will continue because he thinks he has a massive point to prove, as he feels that he didn't represent himself to the best of his ability in the Pacquiao fight.

He isn't making excuses, he doesn't make makes excuses or want to take to take anything away from Manny who is an exceptional fighter, but I just feel knowing Ricky personally, he will want to fight on and prove he can still mix it.

What went wrong in Vegas for Ricky?

There are a lot of events that conspired against Ricky with this fight. People don't always realise what is going on behind the scenes, Mayweather Snr's time-keeping was terrible, and I saw it firs-hand and I was shocked. The Monday before the fight I was in the gymnasiun, Mayweather was late to training, coming in when Ricky had just done his pad work with Lee Beard.

But, because the cameras were following Mayweather he decided to not work with Ricky on the hand-pads, and instead stuck Rikcy on a big punch bag. And that should not have happened, for me it is unacceptable a week before the fight. I don's care what level you at in your sport that is just not acceptable.

Even on the night of the fight Mayweather walked in to the dressing room when Ricky was having his hands tied up. I think this upset things, and stopped Ricky's rythym. And to be honest, I think in the near future Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather Snr will part ways.

The situation with Ricky is he has just got back from Tenerife and he isn't rushing to make a decision on if he will box again. He has his Boxing Promotions and has to seriously re-evaluate things, but as I said, I think he will continue to fight. But I do promise, as soon as Ricky makes a decision, the Sport.co.uk readers will be the first to know.
