Morecambe fight back to earn a point at Yeovil

Kevin Ellison's second-half goal completed Morecambe's comeback as they secured a 2-2 draw at Yeovil in Sky Bet League Two.

It took until the 37th minute before the Glovers made the breakthrough as Francois Zoko pounced on Dean Winnard's back-pass and the striker rounded goalkeeper Barry Roche before rolling it into the empty net.

The Shrimps had some half chances at the beginning of the second half, but it was the hosts who scored again when Jake Gray broke down the right before playing a superb cross into the six-yard box for Sam Surridge to finish at the far post.

The 2-0 lead lasted less than two minutes, however, when Yeovil failed to deal with a throw into the area and Adam McGurk fired into the top corner.

On 77 minutes it was all level as a corner was flicked on for veteran winger Ellison to nod in at the far post and save a point for the visitors.
