Wycombe looking to bounce back against play-off rivals Carlisle

Adebayo Akinfenwa is looking to continue his good run of form after scoring eight goals in his last 15 appearances as Wycombe seek a return to winning ways at home to Carlisle this weekend.

Earlier this season, the Chairboys enjoyed a 16-game unbeaten run in all competitions but they have more recently lost three of their last four league games and dropped to eighth in Sky Bet League Two.

Aaron Pierre and Scott Kashket look to be injury doubts with both players being monitored by manager Gareth Ainsworth ahead of Saturday's game.

Matt Bloomfield and Paris Cowan-Hill (both hamstring) are all edging closer to making their returns for the club.

Carlisle go into the match on the back of a very poor defensive run after they have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last 19 league matches.

George Warring is looking to score his first goal of the campaign following his loan move from Stoke City.

Carlisle currently sit third in the standings and a victory against their play-off rivals would boost their own play-off hopes.

Danny Grainger remains on the sidelines due to an ankle injury that has kept him out since December 10th.
